      Company News

      According to news released by "Changjiang Water Resources Commission (CWRC)" (at the ministerial-level) on July 17, the "Yangtze River's flood No.2 in 2020" formed in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River on the same day, and a new round of flood peak has arrived. Previously, some areas such as the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the Dongting Lake water system were in serious flood conditions and disasters. Hubei once again became a key disaster-stricken area. Wuhan, Huanggang and Jingzhou, and many cities even took the initiative to open dikes to release flood and relieve flood pressure.

      People engaged in long-term and high-intensity flood fighting work need sufficient nutrition. Many local citizens spontaneously sent packed meals, watermelon, fruit and other materials to the flood fighting army. The Hubei manufacturer team of VV Group, on behalf of the head office, donated a batch of soybean milk to the flood- fighting army as supplements and replenishment.

      It is reported that this is the fifth time VV Group has provided support to Hubei since 2020. According to public information:

      After the outbreak of COVID-19, VV donated RMB 10 million in cash to Hubei's people working on front line of fighting against COVID-19 through the local branch of the Red Cross Society on February 7;

      • VV Group, jointly with Han Hong Love Charity Foundation, donated 200 tons of VV soybean milk on February 22;

      • VV Group donated anti-epidemic supplies worth RMB 1.5 million to the Hubei's people working on front line of fighting against COVID-19 on March 1;

      • Hubei VV Dairy, a subsidiary of VV Group, donated 50,000 bottles of soybean milk to Wuhan candidates of senior high school entrance examination on June 30, following a previous donation of over 800,000 bottles of soybean milk and hand sanitizers;

      Cai Tian, the spokesperson for VV Group, grieved that Hubei Province has not fully recovered from COVID-19 epidemic, and now are suffering from the floods. VV Group has extending supportive hands to people in Hubei Province in the fight against epidemic and floods with its own modest efforts, which is also a true reflection of the current national support for Hubei Province. We truly hope that the resilient Hubei people will get out of the disaster and resume normal life in the near future.
